Stream To YouTube

YouTube integration in ShowUs. You do not need to manually copy or paste a stream API key for YouTube in the Restream form.

What You Need

  • A YouTube channel that is enabled for live streaming.
  • A ShowUs show ready on the Produce page.
  • Popup permission enabled in your browser.

Step 1: Connect YouTube

  1. Open your show in the Produce page.
  2. In the Restream section, click Connect YouTube.
  3. A popup opens. Sign in to your Google account and approve YouTube permissions.

Step 2: Verify Destination In Restream Section

  1. In the destination list, confirm YouTube destination is added.
  2. If the destination is Disabled, click Enable.
  3. Start your production stream as usual.

Troubleshooting

  • If popup is blocked, allow popups and click Connect YouTube again.
  • If authorization fails, disconnect/reconnect YouTube.
  • Ensure your YouTube channel has live streaming enabled before going live.
