Stream To X / Twitter

X live streaming uses an ingest Server URL and Stream Key from your X live streaming tools. This guide shows how to retrieve them and configure them in the Produce page Restream section.

What You Need

  • An X account with live streaming access enabled.
  • A ShowUs show ready on the Produce page.
  • Your X live destination details: Server URL and Stream Key.

Step 1: Retrieve X Stream API Key

  1. Sign in to X and open your producer dashboard.
  2. Navigate to source and click Create Source button.
  3. Enter a name for your stream source and click Create.
  4. After clicking Create, your Stream Key and RTMP URL will be displayed. Copy both values
    • Server URL (RTMP/RTMPS ingest endpoint)
    • Stream Key
  5. Copy both values exactly as provided.
  6. Keep this key private. Anyone with the key can stream to your X account destination.

Step 2: Add X Destination In Produce Page

  1. Open your show in the Produce page.
  2. In the Restream section, paste your stream Server URL and Stream Key into the appropriate fields.
  3. Click Add Destination.
  4. Confirm the X destination appears in the destination list.
  5. If it shows as Disabled, click Enable.

Important Notes

  • Live streaming availability on X depends on account eligibility and policy status.
  • If the stream does not connect, regenerate the stream key on X and update it in ShowUs.
  • Do not share your Stream Key in chat, screenshots, or recordings.
